Does buy a defy from one shop and kit from another work?
The vouchers are normally specific to one nominated bike shop so you can not split it across two retailers.

Do this ^^^^If not spunk the whole grand on a defy 1 and fork out for the kit yourself. It's a very sexy bike.
Defy 1 then.
Me too but the Defy 1 makes you feel like Lance Armstrong after taking all the drugs.Haha, i'm only an apprentice,
If you end up liking the Triban 5 (and I wouldn't worry about the B'Twin's reputation - there are lots of Triban riders on here and the issues are mostly to do with wheels on the triban 3.) then bear in mind that Decathlon - at least my local one - never seem to have decent lights.Unfotunately you can only get one voucher from one shop. the triban is £650 all in, Cannondale is £770 all bar a helmet, Giant is £810 all in (all in being shoes, pedals, helmets, shorts, shirt)

Try and get at least 2 full sets of shorts/tops as then you can always have 1 clean set.
realistically i could probably spend £100-£150 of my own money on accessories
This is only the beginning ...
That's to start with. Buy some shorts, a couple of slime filled inner tubes, tyre levers, a multi tool and a pump and just get the rest as you need it.realistically i could probably spend £100-£150 of my own money on accessories
