Just back from a few days in Lisbon, where the best thing that can be said of the beer is that it's cheap. On the whole, the choice extends to either Sagres or Super Bock. And that's about it. I did discover an interesting-looking cervejaria but wasn't able to convince my wife it should be part of our sightseeing itinerary. Perhaps that was a lucky escape for both of us because it doesn't sound that great from
the reviews anyway (ffs, I got over the whole fake monks serving beer thing after a few visits to the original Belgo many, many years ago).
My parents fared better on their recent trip to northern France and very kindly brought me back a couple of bottles of "2 Caps" from the Brasserie des 2 Caps:
