I couldn't interest any of our Christmas Day guests in the "low alcohol Old Speckled Hen".
I'm revising my rating to 0/10. Down the drain it goes.

Right then ladies and gentlemans first out of the box tonight is this little beauty that I'm trying for the first time, it's 7.5% and reminds me of a barley wine, and I'll definitely be having it again.

Unlike some of the other Williams Bros stuff I've never seen it in a shop so it looks like I've got to put another order in.

Continuing the new to me theme is this one, although it's a triple blonde it's not quite full on Belgian yeastiness, another one I'm going to have to add to my next order.

I've opened the Christmas present tonight, still think it's strange that a beer brewed this year is called vintage, maybe special would be more accurate.

It's got hops and malt going on, I can taste a bit of caramel, some spice, and a bit of fruit. There's so much in there that if you gave it to three different people you'd probably get three different descriptions.

Absolutely lovely, all I've got to do now is find out where it came from so that I can go and empty the shelves.

Plenty of tropical fruits, but not much citrus or bitterness in there to balance it out, so it's a no from me for this one.
