I know diddly squat about bikes so I though I'd ask. Opinions and basic mechanical knowledge please.

It's cannondale Aluminium Synapse

Quite different bikes, the Raleigh is a more race geometry and carbon, your synapse is more sportive geometry (higher head tube etc) and alloy. Depends how flexible you are. The Raleigh is quite stiff so not the best for long day rides, but should but fun on shorter blasts. It will probably be a bit lighter too.

Good help there T4tomo, on that I think I will be giving it a miss. After all I like the higher head tube etc on the cannondale.

Thank you everyone.

I have one of those, had it since 2011 and covered over 15000 miles, great bike in my opinion and comfortable enough for rides over 100 miles for a 50yr old. Paid £1150 for mine at the time.

A bit late Duc Gas, obviously not your fault, but I have passed the bike on. I thought it would leave to uncomfortable riding on my part.
Cheers anyway it is appreciated.
