No I wouldn't. Each time you guess you have a one in three chance of getting it right. So the odds are you will get it wrong. Just because you guess x in row wrongly it doesn't change the odds for the next question

I did think of trying for zero when it got close to the end but decided that was dishonourable
so it was, unfortunately, genuine
