As we enter the second quarter we have a further change of lead, with DCLane now neck and neck with T4tomo. silvervanplumberman with a late surge up into third, chasing the leading pair down with just in front of new fourth place Buck who has passed previous leader Slick. Former third placed Slick a further two places back. In between them has slipped 13 rider. Wixsteman and PeteXXX holding station on the outside, whilst Bonefish Blues move up on the rail, ahead of Fnaar. Paulus dropping back down the field, with Toshiba Boy closing the gap to him. Willd and and Slow Scot making little progress in the heavy going. Lazybloke continues his advance through the field, chasing Slow Scot down bit by bit. Get Fatty holding his own, closely followed by Chromatic and the surprise mover as we head into the second quarter, BigSid. This pair having knocked C R two places into the clutches of classic33 and steverob who's still in the first group... Legs appears to slowing, being caught by Donger coming up the outside. Following on behind, we have Mo1959, with Specialeyes losing ground all the time DCBassman. A slight slip by twentysix by twentyfive see’s him fall one spot behind, with Brumjim hot on his heels. Craigwend chasing down the pair of them. The chasing pair, Domus and Saluki losing ground whilst all the while Glow Worm closes the gap. Northern Dave slipped a place putting himself into the clutches of Sharky, ianrauk and a failing mike P. mistyoptic staying ahead of richardfm and Mrs M who have traded posistions again.

The rest of the field remain largely unaltered, with Spartak, Tenkaykev and si_c staying clear of Joffey and glasgowcycyclist, postman and LarryDuff. A half length behind come’s derrick and Bristolian, Stephenite and the_mikey. Badger_Boom closing the gap to the pair in front after passing Dogtousers and big john. Leaving ricknmorty28 and Antnee to bring up the rear. Ben fell doing a great job this time out.
