I would say Metcheck always seem rather melodramatic, especially if you are looking a few days ahead. But at least I can take that with a pinch of salt.
However the BBC & Met Office's weather seems to have a very loose relationship with reality. I looked up the Met Office's claimed reliability statistics and they were so high (like 98% or something) that I rather dispute their method.
