Hi All,
Various stars have aligned, and I will find myself in Barcelona in the last week of October. I have holiday owed to me, so Mrs B and I are planning to take our bicycles and spend the following two weeks cycling to Madrid via Tarragona, Zarragoza, and Guadalajara.
I've used cycle.travel to do rough initial route planning, and we can do this with mostly 70km - 80km days and spend two nights in each of the big towns to look around.
Despite living on the other side of the Pyrenées, we have only voyaged into the Iberian peninsular for holidays once before, so any experienced based advice would be much appreciated !
Pt. 1: Barcelona - Tarragona : 100km following EV 8 to Sitges then the N road following the route of via Augusta
Pt. 2: Tarragona - Zaragoza, via Lleida : 330 km in four days
Pt. 3: Zaragoza - Guadalajara : 325km in 5 days
Pt. 4: Guadalajara - Madrid: 60km
