Was in Aldi today, they are selling sports glasses, part of the ski event, £ 3.99.
Those glasses are exactly like the cycling glasses sold during the cycling event at £ 4.99
Got a pair, as I lost my other ones.

Depending on why you need specs, you could wear a pair of cycling specs with stick on lenses for close up seeing. I bought a pair from this chap , but you could always buy clear safety glasses and stick on lenses from ebay. Thats fine if your distance vision is OK (or in my case OK-ish) and you just need to be able to see your gps or map. I also ride with my regular (varifocal) glasses and cry like a baby.

I am short sighted, but those lenses are a good idea :P
I get issued safety glasses at work which are prescription, and the ones I have are bolle and would work very well for riding but sadly I would rather not risk damaging them from my own use as I need them on a daily basis.

Maybe 'overglasses' type safety glasses could work with a filter on?
