Pastafarian is quite clearly a joke, but Scientology is deadly serious, but both a made up in the last half of C20th
Mormons only date to C19th but is an established religion despite being nonsense.

Actually, if you look at the origins, it is is in fact far from a joke. In fact a rather cleverly conceived and rational concept.
