Backpacks are dangerous

I wear a headband, so to prevent it catching on branches, I wear an helmet to cover it, its what their for is it not?

But there again, as I only ride on road, if I'm in an area where branches are prevalent, its least of my worries, I've probably crashed again, or midway through one.

yep backpacks are dangerous. I had a large d lock in my backpack when i was nudged by a car attempting to u turn on me and i fell and landed on the backpack. Bruised or broken rib (didn't get x ray) took about a month out of my summer riding last year..

I had a branch catch in the vent of a helmet and pull me off the bike in the same way. Had a sore neck for a few days after.
