Thought I should announce that the latest addition to my family (number three child) arrived safe and sound this afternoon. A big bouncing boy.

Mum and baby doing well.

Dad immensely proud.

Thanks to all at the birth centre at St Thomas's, London. A very busy day for them.

I haven't bought him a bike yet but he will inherit his elder brother's first bike (one of those wooden pedalless bikes) which his elder brother is shortly to have replaced by his first pedal bike. He will also in due course inherit his elder brother's yellow jersey.
