I feel I ought to mention at this point that I have a small car, not a fleet of lorries.
And no, my car isn't bigger on the inside, before anyone asks! Not big enough for giraffes, elephants, tigers, monkeys and god only knows what else besides. It's a lovely idea, and I feel rotten to disappoint you all, but I don't think it will work

I've definitely heard of people sneaking penguins out, though...

That looks very nice. I'd like to meet some of those. It's a sort of marsupial anteater, isn't it?
Since I've not seen one before, have they only recently evolved? Perhaps someone could tell us.

It's one of those lines I come out with everyso often, and am never allowed to forget....

BTW, in the Grand Archer's Animals Being Useful Scheme of Things, numbats are down as useful for tidying kitchen cupboards, so it should keep your glovebox in order....
