Well so far I am very impressed ! Not ! I bought an item on the bay which the seller posted rapidly using Express Delivery 1 Day. Estimated time for delivery Thursday 7th March. On Tuesday the tracking sa id that I should receive it by the end of day! I waited in . Nothing! The next day the tracking said that it was at Tamworth . So from Stoke to Tamworth has taken 3 days, so at that rate I might see it in another 9 days!
Express Delivery 1 Day! Perhaps I might see my parcel one day!

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Horses for courses I suppose. I have never had a problem with UPS or most other courier servcies. The only one i would never use was a firm called Coopers Carriers especially if you wanted an item to be in 1 piece.

It's impossible to say one courier is better or worse than another; they all depend on their human employees so they all do some things well and some badly, it's the luck of the draw. Many smaller couriers act as agents feeding business into the owners of the infrastructures like TNT.

All you can do is pack for the worst possible handling and tell your buyer not to be harrassed by the driver into signing "in good condition" but to check the packaging carefully for signs of mis-handling and sign as "damaged" if there's any doubt, otherwise the courier firm will dodge their responsibility.
