Autosave in "Create Thread" window

Does it work? I was very close to pushing the button on a new thread with quite a long post when the relevant tab vanished. My "reopen recent tabs" command just brings up an empty "Create thread" window. Have my potentially immortal words been saved anywhere?

I get something like that, but often find that the text mysteriously reappears if I press F5 to force the browser to refresh the page!

It should work, yes. I've just tried it (Firefox / Win 8) and after creating a thread, but not posting it, I closed the tab and opened a new one. I navigated back to the forum I wanted to start the thread in and when I clicked Create Thread it re-loaded the title and post content.

Give it a try and see if it works, and if it does then perhaps your browser crashed and couldn't recover it for that particular session.
