Audax or Sportive

how do you go about getting in to Audax events.
I live in edinburgh if that help?

The toughest 400km audax I ever did started and finished in Edinburgh. It rained continuously for 20 hours, all through the night. After the 3am stop, cold, tired and miserable, I was heard to say "Never again will I do this". An old Mancunian, with 100s of audaxes under the belt, heard me and replied " Ay lad, yur right. Never again.....until the next time".
Funny.......he was right!
