There might be but nothing obvious is stated on the site. At that cost I would think twice. The Etape Caledonia is the most expensive sportive I've entered and you get a fair bit of support for your money (though no barn dance at the end). Can't see where the money is going here.
After cycling 100 miles I might not be up for a Ceilidh... note to self: need to train my higland dance muscle groups for greater endurance
I did this last year and would not recommend - the route is generally OK but some of the road surfaces are shocking and not fit for road bikes. With the harsh winter this year i wouldn't bet on it being any better.
For a starting sportive i'd recommend the short option on the Drumlanrig Challenge.

Funnily enough i got a flyer through the post today about the Trossachs Ton and they are offering a 100K as well as the 100m route. No details on the 100K route. But this might be an option for you?
