Nice project. That wheelbase is super long so will be very stable.

It's a really nice stance to the bike and really lightweight not sure if it's built with Reynolds tubing not much info about

Weigh the frame without any mechanicals on it, that will give you an idea. I'v got a 23" full 531ST throughout touring frame that weighs 7 1/4 lb for fully bare F & F and 7 3/4 lb bare but with BB unit and headset bearings included.
Gas pipe frames are about 2 lbs heavier bare than butted 531 going on my own weighings.

Remove the seat post and look down inside to see if you can see a seam weld or not .

Congrats - that's a nice find.

The frame could be made from Accles and Pollock Kromo tubing. A & P were based close to the Armstong factory just as Reynolds were: Armstrong wouldn't have to travel far for frame tubes.

I have a mid/ late fifties frameset that may be made of A & P Kromo: the painted frame is 1875g/ 4.13 pounds, painted fork is 695g/ 1.53 pounds. That's for dimensions of a 22 inch top tube (centre to centre) and 22inch seat tube (centre to top).

It's lighter than my early 80s 531 frameset. Some have said Kromo frames are consistently lighter than other steels of the time.

Some A & P info here: http://www.classicrendezvous.com/British_isles/Accles_P_main.htm
