It is lovely!! but your shiny new 1.7 will be devastated :stop::ohmy: how many miles have you done on him? ;)

I know, I know!:blush: I think it's the law of n+1 kicking in... I used to have a bag fetish, but at least I could satisfy that quite cheaply in TKMaxx - this is far worse!!!

They are pretty rubbish though.
For getting people onto fixed then yes, they are fine.
But come on, get a frame and build one up, you just know it would be much better, would have bits on you want and when it brakes you will know how to fix it better.
I wouldnt buy an OTP fixed though.

Maybe you could become the cycling equivalent of a bigamist - as long as the two never meet..........

Fair point but thats the same with most off the shelf bikes under a certain price isnt it? My Allez is great for getting me into riding road bikes but my next one I will build up from a frame I like. I do feel guilty and a little dirty as she is only 6 months old and I am already considering building a new bike, but I guess as it will take me a while to save and a few months to complete it will be around a year to 18 months old by then.

Angelfish is right... bigamy is the way to go... just get a row of secure sheds/housing in the garden or keep them all in different rooms and make sure the doors are shut when you take one out.:laugh:

I don't need it, I can't have it, I can't afford it, it would upset my other bikes, but I so WANT it! Don't even know why, but there is something about it - think it's a case of love at first sight!

It's simple, it's understated and it's gorgeous!!!!

No, no, and thrice no.... this is understated!! Rollover the image to find any logo/branding.... just a beautiful little steel plate stamped onto the frame - niiiice!

All of you are getting your links wrong. I'm sure you mean one of these.

She's a Beauty! But you would have to commute wearing tweed and a trilby with a pipe hanging out the corner of your mouth for visual effect.

Im going to cry.
They are heavy, WTF is going on with those handlebars, i hate that chain.
I dont really like Charge, i have some of their bar tape and i hate that.
The Charge Freestyler is useless, a guy on LFGSS put on he loved it, but he had to put a spacer under the headset or something, so he could bar spin. So its not really a freestyler fixed thing, if you cant spin:wacko:

The normal Guv'nor plus four is nice, but id get rid of the back hub and have it fixed with flats and straps. That would be amazing
