I had a pair of green wellies but the Labrador ate them.

I think you're okay. If it had been a foxhound or a corgi it might be different though.

How was the Labrador afterwards? I'm guessing the wellies didn't come out of it well.

I think i've mentioned this before on CC,but not in this thread. Having tinned red salmon was considered to be a status symbol years ago. Before the vicar came round,my grandma would put a tin of red salmon in her front window to let the neighbours know she could afford it. She'd then serve him salmon and cucumber sandwiches...with the crusts cut off of course!!🧐

I only ever travel in my Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, a proper carriage suitable for the gentleman who appreciates the fine things in life.

I did ask the butler to clean it but one just can't get good staff these days.
