Life is one long torrent of pain and anguish from the cradle to the grave. Full of minor and major injustices, pointless upsets and grievous hazards.
You just have to ignore all of that and focus on the good bits. Like standing on top of a mountain that is mostly obscured by a layer of cloud. Below the cloud is all the bad stuff, all the horrible but necessary stuff. And above it is all the amazing stuff that makes life worth living. You need all the horrible stuff, because otherwise you wouldn't be standing so high, but you also need to rise above it.
