I enjoy riding in the early morning from a leisure perspective, but from a performance perspective, I am an afternoon/evening person.

Pedro and Garz, make the most of your children whilst they are young because believe me them grow up all to quickly and cycling will always be there.

i am at the other end of the spectrum with my two daughters and now I am regularly one of these and of course this as well!!
Wise words. Cycling for me is the only way to balance my sanity!

My wee boy is number 1 though.

I normally set the alarm for 7am, and start riding at 7:30am. It ensures that I don't have time to talk myself out of it! In the summer I love evening rides as well, but I never ever go out in the afternoon.

Depends what I want to get out of my exercise session.
Evenings - I feel too tired and sluggish to do proper training.
Afternoon - only ever exercise in the afternoon to clear away the cobwebs after a long day. Does wonders for the mood, but isn't a proper training session.
Lunchtime - good for a gentle cycle away from the screen if it's nice weather.
Mornings are great for exercise....once I've convinced myself that getting up is a better idea than staying snugly wrapped up in my duvet. I love the fresh air, the sound of birds, the sunrise and the morning sky, the lack of traffic, general quiet and feeling energised and good for the rest of the day about having done exercise already. Oh, and second breakfast after training is the best!
