It is a ghetto area of this forum that does not appear in the various automated searches. The forum is basically politics free except in NACA where you have to ask to join. Admittance is free if you ask.

AS to what you said I think you made a comment that implied you thought a certain political leader is not suitable for the PM job, i.e. personal and politcal opinion hence NACA territory. You might not be aware but AIUI this forum was once not exaclty as welcoming due to political debates inviting bad behaviour that put people off. I think that might have been when I had joined but avoided the forum poossibly because it was not to my liking back then. I think a decision was made to create the ghetto and things have worked out since. I am sure you will appreciate that the mods want the best for the forum and did what they did for that reason.

Got blanked twice today by the same guy... i was on a 30 mile circular route and we passed each other on the A9 and then again on a single track. He was going one way, and me the other. I only met one other cyclists and exchanged cheery hello's

Off topic and irrelevant but I think it actually is searchable. ISTR raising this point when it was set up as I thought it was an omission, but it seems not.

Of course, the usual caveat applies: I may have mis-remembered or completely imagined this.

I must say that CC is a very pleasant election-free haven at the moment.

But back on topic. A lot of hills in my ride yesterday so my almost imperceptible nod that I occasionally give to frantic wavers was even less perceptible than usual. I scarcely had the energy to make V signs at the annoying cheerful bastards shouting "good morning" as they overtook me.
