Are stationary bikes even accurate?

i tried cycling on a technogym however it seems like the watts tend to fluctuate like no tomorrow!

So I wondered are there any gym bikes that are even accurate?

Stages SC3 bikes have Stages Power Meters built in single-sided though, I think so flatter riders with stronger left legs. I'd assume they're the same power meters they sell for road bikes, so +/-2% accurate or thereabouts.

I'd imagine the accuracy is within to a point where it should be accepted as a 'rough estimate' rather than 'pinpoint accuracy', y'know.
