Are looks important?

To me, looks are important. I have to look at it often enough...it might as well be pleasing to the eye.
I like mine to be understated...classy...elegant.

A lot of bikes now are plastered with big garish stickers on the wheels and colours that make me want to strangle bunnies to ease the pain of looking at them.

If it was all about looks, IMO, we'd still be riding the classic thin tubed steel bikes, like this:

How important are the looks of a bike to you?

When I was a teenager, I felt quite proud when I would hear people say, "what a bike!"

Now I am a pensioner and I hear them say "it's a Scott", I wonder if they intend to nick it.

Now I know that you like you 'classics' but this is taking it too far. It should have been called 'No Style'.

PBR is falls into that category, despite the hipsters adopting it. I must admit I did acquire a taste for Old Style, even though I knew it was dirty. I spent too much time at Wrigley.
