I had an Austin Cambridge which was white with a red stripe and the number 800 DVD.
Driving down a side road over the Forth and Clyde canal I found myself behind an identically coloured Cambridge 600 DVD.
My initial reaction was “ somebody has nicked my car” till I realised I was in fact driving my own car.
Lost it somewhere in traffic and never saw it again.
Found out later there was another the same but 400 DVD.
I should have kept the number but I already had a camper and had just got a company car so sold it.
