YOUR English countryside is ok in places, but OUR Scottish countryside is the best :whistle:. I have gone over to France, Spain, Holland, America, and even England on cycling holidays. It's nice to see different places, but when I come home I sometimes wonder why I bothered going away when we have this on our doorstep (then I remember why I travelled; it doesn't bliddy RAIN so much abroad :rolleyes:. But when it's nice, it's VERY nice :wub:):

I travel all over the world for work and to be honest I have never been anywhere I would rather be than home. I'm only 20 mins from Lake District which helps a lot ^_^

I guess I'd find something to appreciate wherever I lived, but being able to get to glorious countryside in minutes and not slog through town and traffic lights to get there does make the appreciation easier.
