Anyone own a bike rack and - here's the catch - a Citroen C6?

Hi folks.

Anyone out there got a Citroen C6 motor car? I have one and I want to buy a bike rack, but due to its peculiar shape and its retractable spoiler situated quite a way from the lip of the bootlid, I need to ensure that I can get one that will fit and not interfere with the spoiler should it be deployed.

I know that may racks fit many cars, but as the C6 is a bit of an oddball (a bit like me, really) I don't fancy trial and error or getting caught out by a retailer that wont accept returns.

I see if you search on the Citroen website http://www.accessories.citroen.co.uk , the only recommended options for the C6 are towbar carriers! However it will take roof bars so maybe a rooftop carrier is what's needed? I suppose it depends how many bikes you need to carry and whether they are particularly heavy or oddly shaped?

<BR><BR><BR>Thanks I did check out the Citroen site when I knew Iwas going to get a new bike - but won't fork out for a towbar and then a rack, hence the question about boot-mounted racks that might fit the car:-) <BR><BR>There is always Mrs L's Ford Focus to fall back on if I can't get one that will fit my car.

I used to have a C5 and I could get my bike inside easily so I'd have thought a C6 could swallow at least two!

Hi Wardy - know the C5 is a very spacious car but the C6, although bigger, has a small boot and I can barely fit a couple of suitcases in there, never mind my very big bike.
