I feel I should tell why I had my back waxed....
Since my teens it has been hairy, from early 20's it's had a fair old rug. As a consequence I was never really one for taking my shirt off.
On holiday in New Hampshire we visited a water park. I was walking into the pool when a little 5yo lad near me looked and said......"GEE, you're sooo hairy"
I'm not sure if I'd been stabbed in the back or had a dagger in my heart, but I was very self conscious back then, and the little git had hurt me. I vowed it would come off, and it did! I hated it
A couple of years ago I was in Tenerife (at a water park) standing in a queue with my niece. She was winding me up saying that I was the missing link which is fair enough, but I turned to see the woman behind me scrutinising my back and looking like she was about to vomit.
These days I don't give a sh1te!
