I haven't seen gerbils for sale in pet shops for quite a few years. it seems to be hamsters,guinea pigs and white rats nowadays. Though looking in the freezers of some pet shops I've seen dead(obviously) rodents for sale as 'snake and large lizzard food'
. I wonder if those rodents could've been gerbils?
