I worked for a specialist glass manufacturer for 35 years before I retired. We made all sorts of glass from optical, fire resistant, anti reflective, fibre optic, etc. Some even went in the Hubble. We were having some office renovation work done and the construction guys put the framework up which was going to hold a lot of anti reflective glass. We had to wait quite a while for our factory to send it over from Germany so we were all stepping through the framework to get around the office in the meantime. Finally it arrived and they put the glass in (you can see where we're going with this!). The glass did exactly what it said on the tin. Next to no reflection. On day one the woman that worked in the post room walked straight into it with a clatter. She was shocked but not hurt. We all had a bit of a laugh and she said she'd learned her lesson. I can't remember how many times she walked into it that day but we had to get a firm in to etch patterns on the glass at eye level so everyone could see it. Thankfully it was too thick to break otherwise we'd have been waiting weeks again to get a replacement.
