My last 4 bikes have been projects I've built up from either ebay or new parts.
It is a lot of fun, but not really the cheaper option.
My next bike is already on the drawing board, I know I want a track frame with horizontal dropouts, but something that will take a rear and front brake. This time I'm even tempted to go the whole diy thing and build my own wheels.
