Can't disagree with you on your last point. The Rose is in my sights as lightness is paramount in hill climb TT's, however I've been told this morning again that my bike is coming so I'll hang on for a while longer. If it doesn't come I will be shouting out my experience from the rooftops and since I am in publishing I know a lot of people. This kind of service or lack of it is unheard of on these shores.
I'm not going that far Citius. Just a light stiff bike that will see me good and progress in both HC TTs next year and the Long Course w/e in July next year (112mile hilly tt) .....now I've lost as much weight as I can off me!

I can imagine something like that being great fun. Tempted to sell my current road bike when I get the new one buy a CX. Those CX races look great fun.
I quite like the look of that. But they seem to have assumed like many of these more winter oriented bikes that we need massive tyres. 23 or 25mm suit me fine, and bikes with the larger ones tend to look odd we you put narrower ones on
