Any special remedies for muscle cramp

For the last ten years I suffer muscle cramp. Never on a steady ride but when I really go for it, even just for a 60 minute flat out ride I get post ride cramp.usually around three to four hours after the ride. Last night around 12pm my left leg muscle simply froze solid for around five minutes.
I drink Electrolyte and eat well, before and during the ride. Any idea guys on how to prevent the cramp, other than taking it easy please.

Stretching pre and post ride could possibly help and using a foam roller.

I used to get that in my calf but I think my seat position fore/aft wasn’t right and that muscle was taking more that it should. Some adjustments and no problem recently(crosses fingers)

I use to get muscle cramps at night time in quads after long bike rides. However in my case since I started drinking electrolytes it has stopped. I would suggest do stretch up especially before and after the ride. If it persists then better to see a doctor as it could be due to some underlying health condition.

Thanks, It could possibly be, not warming up enough pre ride. Just a thought 🤷‍♂️

Just food for thought, whilst I was riding yesterday I realised me being right handed my left leg was simply getting a free ride as less effort was going in. I deliberately gave my left leg closer to a fair share of the work.
Big difference to my overall ride. Cadence and power was way above my normal!!

My totally unscientific remedy is to go for a little walk.

After I've got back from a ride, got washed and changed, I stroll down to the park and back - only 15-20 minutes or so. I kinda sorta think it works. It's harder to do in the winter, as leaving a nice warm house for a walk in the dark and rain isn't an enticing prospect.

I think that is a little more than unscientific. My lad suffers from leg cramps often, and now fastidiously warms (cools?) down after a hard race or turbo session.

Other than that, heat (e.g. a wheatbag) or magnesium spray (don't try magnesium ribbons) are the next go-to's.

I suppose it's an unscientific version of warming down. By the time I go for my stroll I've long since got off the bike, maybe had a train journey home, had coffee and cake, had a shower and so on. It's sort of a delayed warm down.
