I got a road bike and a mountain bike. Sometimes I really dont feel like road riding and find it very enjoyable to get high up and ride along some cliffs. Makes a great change. View is slightly better too.

(10,000th!! thats a lot)

Yes I have a road bike and mountain bike, yes it does make a change to get out on the mountain bike up and down the hills and through the mud

I ride a MTB - still waiting for my roadie. Don't think it will change either. Love my MTB for a leisurely ride or a trip to the shops

I go into the Snowdon Mountains every summer with a good mate and blast a few trails. Great change from the roadbike that I ride three or four times a week all year round. Upper body gets a much harder workout using a mtb than on the roadie as well.

Both, but my fixie does get more use.Just added mudguards and panniers to the MTB to make it more usable as a heavy duty commuter bike which can hit trails better

Got both a roadie and a hardtail. And I've got a CX-lite styled thing too, which is for those days when I just can't decide between them. :giggle:

I love to get out on the mtb with the kids and grandchildren, normally Epping forest great fun, but i love the road bike more.^_^

MTB got me cycling as an adult again, back in the late 80s. Have to say that I can't be arsed with it much these days - it's too much faff. Even the fact that I live a stone's throw from trail centres like Brechfa and Afan - I'm still not tempted to dust off the MTB like I used to...

I used to do 1-2 MTB rides a week and 2-4 road rides but since I lost my cycling 'mojo' about 3 years ago, I've been struggling to do even 1 road ride.

I have friends up once a year for the weekend and I do a Saturday MTB ride with them. This year's gathering is coming up and I realised that I hadn't ridden my MTB since last year's!

I must get back into it - there are some great bridleways round here.
