Or is it all in London. The nastiest of Manchester's exports has been afflicting our beloved capital and drenching everything from Richmond Park to Roehampton, Archway to Arnos Grove, Pimlico to Blackfriars... ?!
I say - I had a puncuret today on my approach to Chiswick Roundabout and it was jolly wet! I tried to put the bally vinyl gloves on but ran out of swearing words It was dashed dirty and the rotters who sprinkle shards of flint all along her maj's highway need a right telling off.
Hurrumph! Trying to dry my bikewear in the microwave ready for it to receive another soaking later today.

Was told it was going to be raining this morning. Went on club ride and only felt a few spots Got home, still no rain Just about to go on paper round, and its rained, and maybe it is still raining or is about to rain again

There's been the odd spit & fizzle of drizzle in my bit of mid-Norfolk. Nothing like the deluge the weather forecast on the google box would have had me believe was due to have fallen by now. I was expecting to have to install an inflatable life-raft in the hen house in case of need by The Laydeez.

To corroborate Aperitif's current forecast of the South of England, it is a p*ss miserable day here in London and the rain is forecast to last until midnight.
It is also due to head north overnight.

On the other hand I've just got back from the school concert which was very good, I turned up late, soaked to my socks then sat and steamed gently at the back through all the performances.
As fortune would have it I was nearly dry by the end of the concert but I was able to enjoy getting just as wet on the way home!

Nice weather for ducks!

I absolutely agree with that ... I'm so wet that my hands are going wrinkley.... and my coat leaked for the first time ... so i have damp patches on my front... and there was so much coming down this morning it hurt....

Even worse than that ... everyone lost the use of their legs ... got in their car ... where most of them lost the use of their brain... blocked junctions everywhere as cars tried to force themselves out into the next queue of traffic..., u-turns, trying to turn into side roads that were completely blocked by stationary traffic etc... I swore a lot today..... just home to tuck into my cup of coffee and a little bit of calming down nicely with CC.

Why do car drivers do that more in the rain as they are in a metal box and cant get wet (unless you are one of my best mates as his car has no AC so in the rain you have to have the windows open)
