Any other suggestions

Hello all this is my first post on this forum. I am looking to replace my old faithful 5 year old Raleigh Pioneer Metro LX with something new that has front suspension. I am looking at a Cube Town2011/2012 (there are some good deals on the 2011 model atm) and wondered if there was anything else I should consider. I use the bike to and from the station and also to carry a fair amount of kit for archery so a carrier and mud guards are needed.

I quite like the idea of the bike coming fully equipped and the hud dynamo appeals, does the cross trail have any advantage over the Cube Town?


My local station has a bike rack on one of the platforms so it is out of the way, in twenty years (wow I am getting old) of cycling to the station I have had one bike stolen (why is it after it happens that everybody becomes and expert on bike locks and tell you 'you should have had a d-lock cable locks are not very good').
