here you go then guys , its a rather scruffy looking Lambert i only bought it for the wheels , bars and other parts but its actually not that bad on a few ups and downs of the cul de sac . just got to work out if they are the death forks or not .

quick up date and we now have down tube levers and a fr mech all operational on the work stand

just the bars and quill stem to swap over 2moro am then a test ride

well 8 miles covered on todays commuting all went well apart from a sinking seat post , so replaced post with next dia up and hey presto

So, are they death forks? I always thought the death forks were aluminum, and the Yamaha replacements were steel.

well the general census is no they are not , been up this morning fully commuterising it , ie guards , lights etc etc
just need to sort out a different fr mech

it looks like i have the steel bung type 3 forks and these seem to be ok , will hide and see what happens already got my eyes open for a nice set of chrome kinesis ones so will see
