Any feedback on a website idea please ?

Thanks. Obviously anything we build within the existing site isn't going to interest anyone who is happy enough on a particular forum and its community.

Some folk might like to see what's on other forums easily - even if they don't visit the other forums much. Presumably if they did visit, they'd get an element of trust from the posts and the 'record' of someone selling.

Just had a very quick look at your site, one category, but it's out of date, last update 27/12/11.
Today is 6/2/12, so almost two months old. Don't quite see how helpful that is.

Thanks for posting, those categories should be up to date but there's an annoying intermittent error and its picking up old information. We're just fixing it at the moment.

The more detailed separate parts and bikes discount sections were updated last week and the price comparison pages are current.

After various feedback, we've decided not to continue with the used parts area idea and just stick to what the site does already. Quite a few small retailers and hire shops said they'd be interested in listing ex-demo or ex-hire bikes for sale, but in the end didn't send any for listing. The used market is probably well enough served by forums + ebay.
