It's a bit more complicated than that...
I'm guessing the water comes out at 212 degrees F or close to it since it's boiling.

You're guessing. He's guessing. We're all guessing.

The only thing we have to go on is the clouds of water vapour, which can form at temperatures well below 100C. If only the presenter had some sort of thermometer he could have used to check...

I was being sarcastic. You know the water is boiling at 212 because you can hear the water boiling inside the kettle. Duh.

It doesn't matter what it looks like. What does it taste like?

Bang the milk on the table to settle it then you should find you can pour the stream of milk from a height before coming close to get that velvety texture. If your after the frothy texture just pour without banging as the foam will slide with the milk.

I have my beloved DeLonghi bean to cup machine and I love it. Noisy though so never make a coffee during Pop Master. I get my beans from a family run roasting place in King’s Lynn as they are so good.

Yes. Brilliant machines. Mine is about 9 years old and fairly noisy, which is a bit of a problem if, like me now, you’re up very early to watch the Test Match and are gagging for a coffee.

I’ve read that the newer models have a quieter grinder? Does anyone have any experience of whether they actually are quieter now?
