I have the Boardman team comp and found the best thing for me was getting clipless pedals (SPD-540's if memory serves) makes a BIG difference to my hill climbing ability on this bike, but I agree a triple would be easier!

I REALLY like the bike though, I've cycled aroung 5000 miles on it so far this year and it's been great for every one of them ;)

Thanks very much all good advice. Back on the old puncture repair front what are the best things to use for puncture repairs? I remeber back in the day i used to have puncture repair kits with waht i remember looking like plasters?? I assume things have moved on a little from this?

Nope it's the same now.
You can pick up a nice little repair kit from Halfords or your LBS

Still get that little bit of crayon, chalk & the little tube of glue that either explodes all over the place when you price the lid or drys rock hard if not used for ages etc etc...:blush:

God i'll need to get a book! Remeber most of it apart from the chalk bit :blush:

Think a couple of spare inner tubes will be the shout!
