I like Skol

A Minging Manc...
When I got my 23c shod road bike I had a few scares with bus stops and other edge markings as the narrow tyre will track along the slightest joint in the surface. I now have to be very carefull as one of the roads I sometimes use has been converted to mixed use with trams and traffic. There is a cycle path that takes a convoluted route to ensure the tracks are crossed at 90deg but as a cyclist that shuns cycle paths I find myself bunny hopping the oblique tracks to avoid possible derailments!

It may just be me,but i find the newer roadmarking paint a lot more slippery than the older stuff.

not just you at all mate. I agree the newer markings are defo worse, dont know if its just because they are new or if indeed the paint is different, either way avoid if poss especially when wet.
