Be careful, I hit a kerb while trying to come back onto a path (on a fast hybrid at 12 mph or so), 3.5 years on, two operations later and my knee is still fooked

My driveway is sections of concrete. I found out the hard way that a 700x23 will fit between those sections in certain places. I didn't fall off but it was a nice little adrenaline rush.

Oaf on a Bike
I got blown into a little kerb yesterday, cycling on a path across a field past a building site, there was a 2 panel gap in the boarded up fencing and caught me completely off guard. Managed to somehow stay on. Came off my bike in the summer not realising there was a tiny 2cm lip between cyclepath/footpath as I slightly corner-cut in torrential rain

Skinnier the tyres the worse they seem.
Few times on a shared path I use which has a 2-3cm pin kerb and useless ped or dog walker forced me off the path causing me to have to unclip and almost come a cropper, just because of the very small kerb - blooming treacherous little blighter.

I love when my city designates cycle lanes with the pictograph of a bicycle and the words "Bike Lane" in that same white line material, glass beads in paint/adhesive make them like ice.
