Yep, definitely a legit Hardrock. A guy down the stairs from my flat had one in the early to mid 90's.

In fact, with some slicks and maybe converted to singlespeed that would make a cracking commuting/pub bike.

looks like the welding on my old hardock and what aluminium welded frames normally look like if the weld isn't skimmed back

i did notice the front disk (can't see the rear) is on the wrong way round, its 'spokes' ought to lean forwards to resist the strain placed on it by the caliper.

Apparently S-works bikes are a few thousand pounds new. I don't understand this as it is only a bike that you have to pedal after all but everyone to there own (maybe they go a few MPH faster than a normal bike which maybe makes them worth every penny? not)

I don't see what the big deal is, tghe seller gives the specs of the bike-anyone with any know how will know that it is not an s-works.

The big deal is it's a Raleigh Lithium, probably purchased from Argos.
Yet shes trying to claim it's a actually a £4k / £5k bike !

I don't think that's true. S/he's been quite open about how many people have been in touch to say it's not an S-Works. Why would they have modified the listing if they were trying to rip people off?
