Well, guess what..........
Seems the title of my post should have read 'Another creaky seat post'
Can't believe that all the noise/worry/excess spending was caused by a blo@dy seat post!!!! Hey ho, got a nice new chainset and BB from it all, feels all the nicer now I know it's all tight.
To all that replied and offered words of wisdom, thanks. Thats why I joined this site after all.
