Why, in God's merciful and infinite graces, did you ever bin a selection of cheese?!?!?!?! :headshake:

Unless it has developed language skills, cheese keeps really well.
3 types but most had been eaten. Chunk of brie WELL PASSED it and some blue cheese that was just toooo blue:wacko:.
With cheese I normally slice moldy bits off but I couldn't see it being eaten.

More turkey, bread sauce and cranberry sandwiches today... last bits of turkey to be eaten tomorrow on pic-nic!

Brie is supposed to be squishy / runny...

Though blue cheese is a funny one. A good way of using up blue cheese that's not palatable (too strong or salty) is to freeze it in small portions and add to a cheese sauce or use it to make a broccoli and blue cheese soup.

Mr M put the turkey leftovers in the freezer (to enjoy them later)
Had my bolognaise with wholewheat penne (as part of my new year resolutions, started early)
No bad!

I was going to ask the same question.
Please please.....I was wrong, I confess, I apologise.
If i wasnt ill I probably would have cut the moldy parts off but I claim extenuating circumstances.
Is there any way I can be forgiven:blink:

I’ve been feeling left out as we had no cold cuts this year so Mrs S bought a chicken yesterday and were having it cold this evening with chips and coleslaw.

Tonight I will actually be having turkey.

I bought a pack of cooked sliced turkey on sticker from the deli counter for 26p on Xmas eve. And as I have some bread that really needs using, plus some of the lovely cherry stuffing from the duck, it's going to be turkey and stuffing sandwiches tonight, with a nice pot of tea.

There's also asparagus soup to start with, plus some papaya and blueberries for afters.
