I know that KOPS(knee over pedal spindle) is debated by some but that kind of boots the whole idea into touch.

Why isn't he riding fixed? 
36" wheels might make potholes a tad more pleasant but the vid doesn't show how well you could deal with such inner city inconveniences such as traffic lights. 'Had to RLJ as I couldn't stop and reach the floor'

It has a front disc brake, and perhaps a coaster brake in the rear?
