Dear All,
my old frame has finally died after 12 years of commuting - looking for new road bike....
Would be very interested to hear if anyone has any experience of AMMACO XRS300 ???
best wishes,
Tom

Don't buy a bike from Amazon, it'll be pretty much rubbish

- buy used or save up a bit more for the £300 Btwin Triban 3 from Decathlon or even try to find a used Decathlon Btwin Triban 3, red one, better spec than the current white one

No experience of that specific bike but from previous experience of Ammaco bikes I'd suggest avoiding it, especially as it's towards the cheap end of their range. The frames are on the heavy side and the components attached are made of cheese disguised as metal. (In my opinion).

+1 for spending a bit extra on a Triban 3 (preferably the red one if you can still find it) as there are a lot of happy owners on here.

You could buy something a lot better for a little more money, i.e. triban 3 or look secondhand.

Personally I would avoid Ammaco as most of the components, wheels, frame etc will be poor and I don't spend a fortune on bikes.
