Did you see the pictures of the assassination attempt? One of the secret service boys pulled an Uzi from inside his jacket, which seems to have kinda made future nutters think twice about their life expectancy should they try it now. Those Chevy Blazers in the motorcade, one of those has an M134 gatling gun in the back, another a mortar for crying out loud. I'm sure they'd love someone to try it on now and again just so they could see how quickly they could turn them into a grease spot.

The first time I went to DC I walked where that assassination attempt was made (its quite recognizable). I'm not a morbid kind of person but did want to see it as I strongly recall watching it on the news, and it is interesting to see the sights of history in real life. If I recall he also joked with the surgeons before his operation that he hoped they were all Republican (or something like that).
