Itching to get back on my bike's

got a glorious set of sprint wheels that i want to use , have a frame lined up ready for refitting up to accept said wheels . this would mean having to use tubs for my daily short commute 6 - 8 miles mainly on inner town main roads and then cycle path through ind estate .

looking at Vittoria Rally's or push the boat out on there Corsa evo cx's , any comments .

normally use Schwable blizzards or lugano's and marathons depending on bike and or wheel size with no problems or puncture's

Well, the only time I used them, they punctured faster than I could fix them but they were old tubs. Right arse changing them at the roadside as well.

Christ no. Tubs should be ridden more not less.

Just accept the fact they're more expensive and a lot more hassle than clinchers, fill them with sealant, and maybe go for one of the training models rather than out and out racers. These for example.

I love the smell of tub glue in the morning...
